Letting Go of What Could Have Been to Welcome What Is More Than You’ve Ever Known

In many days, we all curate a life that we want for ourselves. We paint a picture of how we see ourselves and how we envision ourselves. We build timelines in our minds, set expectations for our journeys, and silently assume that life will follow the script we’ve written. And I think one of our biggest fears is not just failure, but the possibility of a life that looks completely opposite of what we ever thought it would be.

There’s something deeply unsettling about waking up and realizing that reality doesn’t match the vision we held so tightly. It can feel like rejection, like delay, like everything is slipping through our hands. But sometimes what we call rejection is actually redirection. And every closed door is not just an ending it can also be an opening to a possibility we were never brave enough to imagine.

I’m here, in this moment, next year, in a reflection of time, and I’m finally realizing that everything I’ve ever feared has somehow shown up in my life in one way or another. And still, I’m learning something important:It is always necessary to detox your thoughts.

Because the mind, if left unchecked, will replay fear until it becomes your reality. But when you choose to renew your thoughts, you allow yourself to immerse in something greater the possibility that life is not getting worse, but becoming deeper, stronger, and more aligned than you can currently see.

Many of us live in fear because fear is what we’ve been most exposed to. It becomes familiar. It becomes believable. And over time, it convinces us that this is all life can be.But what if it isn’t?What if you are more deserving than what fear has told you? What if there is more waiting for you beyond what you currently understand?

I want to speak to someone who may be in a place where their life feels like the opposite of what they thought it would be.It may look like you are not going anywhere. It may feel like things are standing still, or even falling apart. But I want to remind you there is truly a God who exists in the unknown. A God who is present in the future you cannot yet see. A God who is not only in the outcome, but also in the process. For if it is written that He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, then even in this season of confusion, He is still part of the story. He is not absent in your uncertainty. He is not distant in your silence. He is present in your becoming. He is the One who sees you.He is the One who still wants you to win.He is the One who stays with you in the lost place in the isolation, in the questions, in the moments where you are unsure of everything. And He does not change.

So the only thing left is trust. To trust that what you imagined for yourself is not the limit of what is possible. To trust that what He has planned will not harm you, but will prosper you even if the path looks unfamiliar right now.Because what is coming is not just what you expected.

It is more than you’ve ever known

With love

Self belief

There is something so beautiful about returning to yourself. Hey everyone, I am incredibly excited to be back. Once again, I know it has been a year since I have truly been part of writing and expressing myself creatively, but today I sit here holding so much to say. I finally feel myself stepping back into my creative zone, and for that, I am deeply grateful. Today, I sit with a heart full of gratitude. A heart that has come to understand that sometimes our greatest blessing is simply existing. Sometimes the blessing is waking up, seeing another day, breathing again, and realizing that being here is a privilege. God saw us fit enough to be part of today, and that alone means we are trusted with so much more than we often realize. And today, I want to speak to the person who feels like they are not enough. The person who feels like they have not achieved enough. The person who struggles to see themselves becoming a better version of who they are. The person who feels stuck...

Comparison Is the Thief of Joy

A lot of us have heard the saying, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” But do we truly understand what it means? Today, I want to go a little deeper. I want to paint a picture of how comparison can slowly pull you away from becoming the person you were created to be. I want to show you how staying trapped in comparison can rob you of the beauty of your own journey the beauty of being different, the beauty of taking a route that no one else has taken, and the beauty of discovering a life that was uniquely designed for you. I know it can be difficult. It can be heavy trying to trust the process when it seems like everyone around you is moving faster, achieving more, or living the life you imagined for yourself. But today, I want to encourage both you and me: free yourself from the shackles of comparison. Free yourself from constantly looking to the side and wondering what life would be like if you were someone else. Free yourself from the cage of wishing your story looked like everyon...
